Water Filters
All our filters are made with patented unique plastic “Super Discs” and are sold under |

the trade name “Super Disk Filter”, the trade mark SDF™ and the logo |

The Super Disk structure is based on a unique pattern that form the Micro-Passageways for the water flow: The front side of each disk is formed with a continuous raised sinuous rib that extends radially and the rear side with annular ribs that extend circularly. When the disks are stacked together, the annular ribs cross the sinuous ribs at right angles, to form small filtering passageways between the ribs.
The Super Disks are designed in few diameters, each by a variety of color coded mesh grades that forms a well defined passageways. The clogged dirt is trapped in the exterior of the sinuous rib, where the smooth plastic face enables easy wash of the disks by clean water back flush. SDF Rotary Regenerative filters can be cleaned and regenerated without removing the disks out of the filter. Other disk filters use disks that are formed with fine grooves over its faces. Extraction of the dirt clogged in the grooved disks requires disassembly and brushing.

Stacks of Super Disks are sold as custom designed filter elements that fits into existing OEM Dismantled Filters. These stacks replace the disposable filter elements. By manual cleaning, time and again, the need to replace filter elements is permanently eliminated. Some come with a skeleton that tightens the disks stack, others use the inner structure for this purpose.
Open Filters are used for river pumping, for gravity irrigation drip systems and for water treatment in sewage reservoirs. This is a simple and inexpensive application that creates an easy option to back-flush the clogged sediments directly to the river or reservoir water. |
